In the past year, I have been much more aware of what I eat and have put more effort in maintaining a healthy diet. I also really enjoy eating out and trying new restaurants but sometimes find it hard to find restaurants that serve a variety of healthy options that are also delicious.
I will spotlight restaurants that offer great healthy food choices to help you explore good options for eating out.
Today, I flew home to North Carolina for Christmas and one of the aspects of home I look forward to the most is the food. Southern cuisine is known for a lot of things, but being healthy is not one of them. I anticipate eating lots of “comfort food” that may not be very comforting in the long run when I return to the gym next week.
But then I remembered this awesome restaurant that I visited during my last visit. The restaurant is First Watch in Raleigh, NC. In addition to tasty breakfast and lunch offerings, they also offer a delicious juice bar selection and have menu items for vegetarians and vegans. They have multiple locations mainly in the southeast.
